Pregnant during the party season and nothing to wear? I feel with you, because that’s exactly what I had to go through last year. There was Christmas. There was New Year’s Eve. There was the 30th birthday of Ben’s sister and there was me standing in front of my wardrobe crying everytime I had to get ready for a party or dinner. Pregnant ladies this year can relax though as baby retailer Glow Maternity & Baby has launched their new fashion label GLOW just in time for this year’s party season.
The label has been designed by mum of four Kate Staddon and her husband Mark. After 5 years of running her boutique and online store http://www.glowmaternityandbaby.co.uk/, Kate felt she knew exactly what mums were looking for when it comes to maternity wear and understood their frustrations with the lack of practical and comfortable yet stylish options available. After a year of designing Kate and Mark have launched their first collection, which consists of fashionable basics plus workwear and eveningwear, everything a mum-to-be needs to get her through her pregnancy in style.
My favourite item of their maternity range and an absolute must-have item for fashionable mummies is the 6 Way Maternity Dress. As you might have guessed by the name, you can wear it in six different ways, which makes it the perfect maternity outfit for the party season as it saves you from spending lots of money on a different dress for all you evening do’s. It’s cleverly designed to skim, not cling to the body, so it complements your shape pregnant or not. With built-in bust support, the 6 Way Dress allows elegant, comfortable dressing for pregnancy and beyond. At £99 it is not cheap, however it will give you 6 outfits in one – bargain, right?
Keep up to date with Glow Maternity & Baby via Facebook. Which verstion of the dress do you like best? My favourite is No.6!
I wouldn't mind getting a dress that goes six ways even when not pregnant!
I love it, would love one with a bit of colour though. Maybe purple or something. I wore a purple dress to the prom of the school I worked at and although I usually am not a dress person, I really really like it x
love the dress, will have to remember about this label for the next pregnancy
