Do you remember, when you still lived with your parents and your clothes magically turned from a dirty mess on your bedroom floor into a crease-free pile of freshly washed clothing? Oh those were the days!
When I moved out, I quickly noticed that ironing is not one of my favourite household chores and most of all, that my ironing skills are close to non-existent. While my mum manages to get the most creased shirt looking brand new, I stand at the ironing board for 15 minutes and at the end, there will be more creases in the shirt than before. So I have come up with a simple solution: If Ben wants to wear an ironed shirt, he can iron it himself and do you know what? I am joining the 50% of women that think men are better at the ironing board. Scientifically, women are supposed to be doing the better job, but I am not sure, if this research might have been conducted by a man who doesn’t want to get steamy with his iron!
To get men and women ironing like their mums, Tefal has come up with the perfect guide to ironing. With Tefal’s quirky new ironing guide, sons and daughters up and down the country can really press to impress. Sassy innuendos and funny one-liners make the video the perfect guide on how to iron the perfect shirt – I only have to get my ironing board out and practise instead of giggling about the bearded mum.
Oh and before I forget it, over on the Tefal Facebook page, you can currently win a steam generator iron simply by sharing the way your mum irons – tips, tricks or weird little habits. For more information on the competition and Tefal’s steam generator irons, check out the Tefal website! Good luck!
