Mummy Alarm reviews “Guess How Much I Love You” DVD & Competition

If you are looking for a DVD that you can watch with all the family, then look no further: Sam McBratney’s bestselling children’s book “Guess how much I love you” has been turned into a beautiful DVD for young and old and was released just in time for Christmas. We were sent a copy of the DVD and snuggled up on the sofa to enjoy the adventures of Little and Big Nutbrown Hare, Little Field Mouse, Little White Owl and  Little Grey Squirrel.

Following the lead of the book, Little Nutbrown Hare and his daddy, Big Nutbrown Hare go on eight different adventures, which are separated into different episodes, while a beautiful story line of love and friendship unfolds around them. In each of their adventures Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare tell each other just how much they love one another and interact with some new and old friends.

Altogether, this is a lovely DVD that we all really enjoyed. The episodes were the perfect length for Amy and just like the popular books, the DVD did not disappoint. It’s family-friendly, entertaining and a great way to teach children of as young as two years old the meaning of love and affection for those closest to them.

The DVD is beautifully animated and would make a perfect stocking filler or addition to a pre-schoolers DVD collection. The usual retail price is £9.99, but you can get the DVD for only £5.00 on Amazon at the moment – bargain! If you are looking for a cute little present to go along with the DVD, have a look at this gorgeous photo frame. It’s from Rainbow Designs and would look so cute in a little one’s nursery.
