Do you know when it’s so dark, wet and grey outside that you know it will be a long, long day as soon as you get up? We had one of these days last week, but luckily a parcel came through the letterbox. A parcel that was addressed to me and came from the Netherlands. A parcel that I still don’t know who sent us. A parcel that included a fabulous colouring in book and some fun crayons. A parcel that really cheered us up! Amy’s grumpy little bad-weather-face instantly lit up when she saw the bright crayons and she couldn’t wait for me to open the packaging.
She carefully stacked up the crayons, which are shaped like farm animals. We felt the different surfaces and tried to copy animal noises. In Amy’s book all animals make woof woof and quak quak. Don’t ask me what she does when I ask her what a cat does. It’s not a noise, so I guess, I will have to film it for you!
We also had fun naming all the different colours and exploring the colouring in book. It shows lots of different farm scenes and many friendly animals.
And, of course, we loved colouring in our furry and not so furry friends. What a lovely afternoon we ended up having!
Disclosure: Thanks to whoever sent this book. We have no idea who you are, but you made us smile!
These look fab – never seen anything like this before!
Me neither, we were very happy when they came through the letterbox – wherever they came from 😉 x
Those crayons look amazing!!!! x
They are so cute, aren't they? I'm totally in love with them and I have just found out that there are dozens of sets you can add – happy mummy 🙂
This is so cute – what a fabulous surprise!
These looks great.
My son likes these types of crayons as he struggles holding the usual variety. He would love these so much with the farm theme.
They are really lovely for little hands and they're got so much more shapes available. I found them really great, although I found you have to apply quite a bit of pressure to get the colour to pay off x
