Skintruth Pedicure Review

skintruth pedicure review

A couple of weeks ago, I was sent two products from Skintruth’s pedicure range and they were a welcome treat. I have to admit that I am one to forget my feet when it comes to my beauty regime, if I even have a routine that can be described as a beauty regime that is, but let’s face it: With a busy toddler in tow, long bubble baths have become a distant memory and I can’t even remember when I last painted my toe nails, so the foot & leg lotion and the revitalising spray were something that I really looked forward to using.

The Skintruth foot & leg lotion comes in a handy squeezy tube and is incredibly soothing. I was quite surprised about how far only a little amount of it went, but I also found that the foot & leg lotion was quite thick in consistency and took a while to soak into my skin. Once it had dried completely though, my feet felt moisturised and nourished and I guess that’s what you really want from a product like this. The scent was really pleasant and I loved the tingling feeling that the peppermint left when I was rubbing in the lotion. It’s probably really silly of me, but little things like that make me think that the lotion actually does something to my feet and something is happening. At £6.99 it’s a little more expensive than I would ideally want to pay for it, so I’ll see how I get on with the rest of the tube before deciding, if I’ll repurchase Skintruth’s foot & leg cream or try something new.

Skintruth’s revitalising foot spray is something that I have used a lot over the last couple of weeks. It also comes with the fresh peppermint and tea tree oil scent of the foot & leg lotion and is just what my feet need after a long day out and about. It’s refreshing, cooling and soaks in super fast. The pump mechanism allows you to spray just as much as you need and the in-build foot deodorant is something that comes in handy when it’s a little hotter outside or you’re wearing trainers. At only £2.99, it’s a product that I will definitely buy again.

Disclosure: Skintruth provided me with both products for the purpose of this review.
