With Christmas upon us, I thought it would be a great idea to give you some gift ideas for toddlers. I know that a lot of my child-less friends really struggled with ideas when Amy was making the transition from baby to toddler.
Is she old enough for a jigsaw? Are stacking toys too boring for her and what can they actually do and what overwhelms them? Question after question hit me when everyone was doing their Christmas shopping and despite me telling that it was the thought that counted and that Amy would eventually grow into liking all toys given to her, everyone wanted to get it right.
One idea that I passed on to every single friend or family member was getting Amy wooden toys. They are educational, long lasting and I find them absolutely beautiful. Just check out the adorable wooden toys from Baby Lurve. They are just gorgeous and I absolutely love the woodland theme for little ones – no, who am I trying to fool, I love the woodland theme for adults too. What is cuter than owls, bunny rabbits or fawn with big round eyes?
The colours are all neutral, so these toys could be given to a boy or a girl and I know that I would have been super happy to receive either of the toys for Amy. They are beautiful to look at, durable (very important, if you have a little one that likes chucking toys around and biting them) and engaging – in short: everything you could ever want from a toy.
So if you are looking for gift ideas for little ones, check out Baby Lurve. There’s something there for all age groups plus lots of fantastic baby products for new parents.
