Amy’s third birthday is still a little more than two months away, but I am already excited about her birthday surprise. We’ll be taking her to Cardiff to see the the Disney on Ice ‘Worlds of Fantasy’ tour and I cannot wait to see her little face light up when her favourite Disney characters will come alive right in front of her eyes. I have always wanted to go and see the show, even before having Amy and now we have the chance to and enjoy it with her.
The Disney On Ice ‘Worlds of Fantasy’ tour, produced by Feld Entertainment, is led by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse and takes Disney fans across the auto-racing terrain of Cars, Andy’s bedroom for some Toy Story 3 fun, under the sea with Ariel from The Little Mermaid and into Tinker Bell’s mystical Pixie Hollow for the grand finale. The best of four Disney adventures is packed into one magical show, creating the perfect mix for young and old.
I love the classic Disney movies and princess stories, but I have never watched Cars or Toy Story, so finding out more about those two is definitely something that I am looking forward to. My personal highlight though will be Ariel from The Little Mermaid. I just adore the movies and when I was little I would lay in the bath with my sister, sing the songs and pretend Ursula would be coming out of the plug. Amy does exactly the same now, so I can’t wait to see what sort of performances she’ll come up with once she’s seen the show?
