I don’t know about you, but I often check blog or websites on the go. When does my favourite shop close, what’s the address of the new restaurant and is there maybe a blogger out there who has reviewed it? I like researching, so it’s really no surprise that I do a lot of it not only from home, but also when I’m visiting places, waiting for the bus or just bored on car journeys. I’m no rare breed and I know that a lot of my friends are doing the same and when they’re out and about, we’re living in a digital day and age after all, so why is it that there are still websites out there that don’t cater for users on the go?
Static websites can be such a hassle to get around on a mobile device and I often give up and move onto a website that has a responsive theme and is therefore more user-friendly. For me, it’s not a big problem, but businesses can lose out on me as a costumer and I’m sure it’s not only me who walks away from them.
So if you are a blogger or business, have you got a responsive theme to make mobile users happy? If not, you should check out the infographic below. It will open your eyes and teach you everything you need to know about mobile-friendly websites. It might not be an overly exciting at first glance, but it’s really simple and can make the difference in terms of customers or readers!
This is a promotional post, but I really hate nothing more than having to zoom in and out to be able to read blog content or see the sizes of a piece of clothing that I want to buy. It’s annoying and my sausage fingers make me feel like I’m trying to make Mission Impossible possible!
