Let’s be honest, we all like a bargain and a great way to go on holiday or even a little weekend trip without breaking the bank is checking out websites that specialise in finding the best deals for you. If you are a little more flexible, you can even find some amazing last minute cottage holidays for less than half the price.
Snaptrip is one of the many websites offering cottage holidays for fab prices. All you have to do is register, enter where you’d like to go, how many people you’re going with and for how many nights you’d like to stay. For the weekend I’ve checked, there were over five thousand offers available. Pretty impressive, isn’t it?
To show you just how easy it is, I thought I’d show you a little example and talk you through the whole process, so here we go:
To give you an example, I’ve typed in that we’re looking to find a last minute cottage holiday in or around Bristol, that we would stay for three needs from 16 January 2015 and that we require a minimum of two beds. Then I just pressed the orange “Search” button and was presented with this list of available properties.
For the upcoming weekend, there are a total of 8 properties available, all of them priced between £300 and £390. Each picture comes with a little overview of how many beds are available, for how many people the property is suitable as well as symbols explaining, if you can bring pets and of utmost importance for bloggers, if there’s WiFi available. You can also see where the property is situated on a little map and how many former guests have left comments on the property’s profile page.
As briefly mentioned above, each property has it’s very own profile page. On there, you find plenty of photos that allow you to get a good first impression of the cottage as well as detailed information about the facilities and the location. You also have a section with the reviews of previous guests, which is something that I always appreciate when booking a holiday.
The last step, before actually packing your bags, is booking your holiday and this step really couldn’t be easier. You simply fill in a short online form, pay for your holiday and print off your booking details before jumping in the car and driving to your holiday home. Really simple, isn’t it?
If you could beam yourself into a cottage anywhere in the UK, where would you go?
