Hi everyone and Happy Monday
I can’t believe that it’s my turn again to host this week’s Parenting Pin It Party. It feels like it was two or three weeks ago that wrote my post, but that just proves that time goes fast when you’re having fun and that’s exactly what we have had over the past couple of weeks.
Amy and I have settled in well back at my mum and dad’s house and we’ve thoroughly enjoyed having my side of the family around. We’ve gone on day trips with my parents and sister and Amy really bonded with my grandparents over the past weeks, which is just amazing to watch. I hope the New Year has been treating you well so far and you’re still going strong when it comes to your New Year’s resolutions and goals. I for one am trying to get more organised and that’s why I’ve been loving one of the posts that linked up over on Rumanian Mum’s blog last week:
Simone from Little Nickle Bird has shared her 10 things to include in her family command centre and I love her ideas. Now, command center might sound a little military to some, and while the basic idea behind it might be to plan your actions meticulously, but it really isn’t as strict as you might think. Think about it as your base camp for everything you need to plan and organise and read how adding a dinner list, birthdays or your goals can help you reduce stress and become more focused and organised.
The second post I really liked was from Jen over at Mum In The Mad House. She shared wonderful fingerprint monster thank you cards that she made with her boys and I really like that her kids are getting so involved in the craft. Receiving a thank you card really shows you that your present has been appreciated and if it’s a homemade one like these cards, it adds an extra special and personal touch, I think. Plus, they’re super cute and easy to make.
Have you written a blog post that you’d like to share with us? Grab the badge below and we’ll pin your family, recipe or craft posts to our Monday Parenting Pin It Party board over on Pinterest.
If you link up, please be sure to visit other entries and show them some love as well. That way it’s more fun for everyone involved and you can find new blogs to read. It would be fab, if you could follow our Pinterest board too!
