Quite a while ago, Amy received this wonderful princess castle tent from the lovely people at Big Game Hunters and I thought it was time to finally tell you all about it because she really enjoys playing with it. The tent came well packaged in a surprisingly small parcel and was incredibly easy to assemble. All you need are 10 minutes of your time and a screwdriver – the setup is so self-explanatory that I didn’t even need the instructions provided.
You simply slot the different sized wooden poles into the connectors provided, secure them with screws (also included in the set) and cover the frame with the the canvas. It’s really that simple!
The princess castle tent measures H 1.2m x W 1.4m x D 1.4m and comes with a waterproof and crease-resistant canvas, which makes it perfect for indoor and outdoor play. The door and three roll-up windows can be tied up during playtime and are a fun little feature for little princesses and fairies. Amy kept playing Rapunzel inside, throwing her head out of the window, and it was too funny to look at!
Over all, we are really pleased with our new princess tent. Amy has been playing in it for hours, having picnics and tea parties with her teddies and dollies and I just love how little hassle it was putting it together – it was certainly much easier to assemble than the dens I used to build as a child.
At it’s current sale price of £39, the tent is really fantastic value for money, but I like it so much that I’d happily pay the full price of £74.99. It is incredibly well made, beautiful to look at and really sturdy despite it being light enough to move it around in the garden or your child’s bedroom. I know for sure that Amy will be able to enjoy it not only for the rest of this summer, but also for years to come.
Do your kids have a play tent or have you considered buying them one?
