Winter is just a couple of weeks away, but Amy has been in full on shopping mode for her winter wardrobe for ages now. She loves fashion and having cute boots to go with her outfits is, of course, just another fun part of it for her. Whereas Amy is quite happy to go just by the look of them, quality is my priority for two reasons. Most importantly, I want her shoes or boots to support her growing feet and secondly, I don’t want to have to buy a new pair every couple of weeks.
Here in Germany, we wear boots for the majority of autumn and winter as it does get quite cold for long periods of time, so ideally, her boots should last her a couple of months. Daniel Footwear have asked us to share our favourites with you and as they sell absolutely everything from Kids Ugg boots to trendy wellies, we really didn’t struggle to find great pieces for the cold season.
I absolutely adore the Chelsea boots. They are something I love for both Amy and myself. You can wear them with absolutely everything. They’re timeless, chic and the UGG lining keeps little feet nice and warm when the temperatures are dropping. As you might have guessed, the Melissa Duck wellies are Amy’s addition to the list and you can’t really blame her for it, can you? They are so cute, she could totally persuade me to buy them for her despite her not really needing anymore welly boots.
What do you look for in kids shoes and do you sometimes just buy them because they’re too pretty not to buy them? Please, make me feel better about my loss of willpower!

I tend to buy my little boy wellies or sturdy boots but my little girl (who’s 11/2) likes to choose her own – they tend to be pink and sparkly!!!
Some really cute looking boots there. I just love that pink pair.
Those are some seriously lovely boots – wish I had little feet!
The duck willies are adorable.
sorry that should have been wellies
I think comfort is such an important thing however they still need to look nice
I seriously love the duck ones 🙂
I love choosing new boots for the kids each year when the weather turns. Some lovely choices here and those little duck wellies are so cute!
