I don’t know about you, but I absolutely love Ebay. For me it’s the perfect place to stock up on washi tape, because you can score some seriously good deals and don’t even get me started on cake decorations for birthday parties. Ebay is the epitome of heaven for every wannabe cake maker. I bought everything for a Frozen-themed cake for Amy’s birthday two years ago and I mean literally bought everything that you could associate with this decade’s most popular Disney movie. There were Frozen figurines from Olaf to Elsa and the trolls, ice-blue candy ice slabs to recreate Elsa’s castle with as well as little ice crystals and snowflakes to sprinkle across the cake. I couldn’t believe my luck!
The other day I searched the internet for Polly Pocket after Amy came home from kindergarten and couldn’t stop talking about it and to my horror I had to find out that today’s Polly Pocket toys are nothing like the ones I had back in the day. They’re huge! There’s nothing “pocket” about them anymore, so I took to Ebay and found plenty of pre-loved sets which did end up costing a small fortune. I guess 80s and 90s Polly Pockets are what you’d call “vintage” or “retro” these days, so you seem to pay extra for that.
There are some great savings to be made on Ebay though and websites like Coupofy allow you to choose from 10 Ebay redemption codes for extra money off current deals.
