Yesterday, I showed you what I got for Christmas. Today, it’s Amy’s turn to show you what Father Christmas put under the tree for her. She’s super excited to show off all her gifts, so I’ll warn you right now. There’s lots of Denglish – Denglish is what we call her German (Deutsch) and English mix. I understand every word she says, but you might struggle from time to time. I hope it doesn’t stop you from giving her a big thumbs up as it’s still difficult for her to stay in one language.
But let’s not dwell on that and check out what Amy got for Christmas this year:
What Amy got for Christmas
When thinking about Amy’s Christmas presents we tried to get a good mix of fun, educational, useful and also wearable things and I think she’s really happy with everything she received. She also got the dress that she’s wearing in this video but we completely forgot to tell you. What did your kids get for Christmas? Did they have a specific list of things they wanted or do they like the surprise of seeing what Father Christmas has picked for them?
Amy dropped the occasional hint, but I think she would have been happy with whatever we got her. She is actually quite low maintenance – long may it last, but I’m sure it will change once she hits her teenage years.
This is our last blog post for 2016. I hope you have a wonderful New Year’s Eve with all your loved ones. Take care and I see you in 2017!
