“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth” – Kahlil Gibran
I’ve got a couple of new year’s resolutions this year, more on that at the weekend, but one of them is to share more of my photos on the blog. I take dozens of photos of Amy every single week, yet I never get around to sharing them with you. This year, I will try to be better and that’s why I will attempt to get involved with Living Arrows every week.
This week, I’m sharing a picture of my feisty little bath bomb lover. Amy has pretty much obsessed with bath bombs ever since her first trip to Lush. She has a whole jar full of them in the bathroom and friends and family always get her one as a little treat.
Never heard of Living Arrows before? Let me fill you in! Living Arrows is a photography linky over on What the Redhead said, a parenting blog hosted by mum of two, Donna. The linky celebrates childhood in all its forms. So expect cheeky grins, mucky faces and the many other sides of childhood.
Personally, I can’t wait to see all 52 photos at the end of the year. I keep looking at pictures of Amy from a couple of months ago and wonder how it’s possible that she has changed so much without me even realising. So it will be great to see how she slowly changes week by week.
If you want to join in with the linky and share pictures of your own bath bomb lover, simple grab the badge below and pop over to Donna’s blog to link up pics of your kids. If I’m organised enough, you’ll meet me over there every week this year. If I’m not, come here to tell me off as this is something that I really want to stick with.
What a fab photo! Love the look in her eyes. I did the living arrows project for the first time last year and was so proud to complete the year, I really hope you manage to stick with it! x #LivingArrows
It’s so rewarding to do this linky, this is year 4 for me (although I don’t go back and compare the photos like I should really). Gorgeous photo of her – she’s beautiful, and looks so grown up. #livingarrows
Thanks so much for linking up! My two haven’t discovered bath bombs yet but I love that your daughter has her own jar and that they’ve turned into a bit of a tradition. Gorgeous photo x
I think she’s had her first Lush experience when she was just shy of 2 years. The lady in the shop took her by the hand and let her play with some of the bath bombs while I shopped around. In the end, she gave her a little robot bath bomb and the addiction was born, haha x
