Today’s post is going to be a super quick one. After working at the 23rd FINA Diving Grand Prix in Rostock four days in a row and not making it home before 9PM or even later every night, I’ve got a to-do-list as long as my arm. Who am I kidding, it’s probably as long as me.
That’s basically the reason, why I’m just sharing a quick snapshot that I took on my phone when Amy came to visit me at work yesterday. During one of the breaks, we got some ice-cream, she had her face painted and then we made our way back to my little desk in the press area. From there we watched the women’s 3m synchronised final as well as the men’s platform final and Amy had an absolute blast.
The atmosphere was amazing and China’s Jian Chang treated us to some insane dives with difficulties of 4.1 and marks. He had the whole pool cheering for him and it was incredible to watch. Amy loved it, although she was secretly cheering for the Canadian diver, Vincent Riendeau. My Insta and YouTube buddy Naela who lives in Canada might have something to do with that. Amy is obsessed with watching her videos and has become a real Canada fan.
If you want to find out more about the FINA Diving Grand Prix or International Divers Day and what I got up to, make sure to check out the official website and their social networks. That’s where I’ve been posting for the past week or so and it was great fun chatting to diving fans all over the world.
Look at that smile! It looks like she had a great time! #livingarrows
This looks like an amazing event – and what an incredible experience for your daughter! x
After the European Championships in 2015, it’s her second time and she absolutely loves it. It’s an amazing sport to watch x
Wow what a fantastic job and I love that your daughter could come and visit you. Ice cream and face painting – much better than my office! #LivingArrows
