Amy is still not 100% and she probably won’t be until she’s had surgery in May. To make sure, she keeps her energy levels and health up, though, we’re really big on relaxing after kindergarten these days. Usually, Amy is the definition of a whirlwind but as she’s not sleeping well because she’s really struggling with her breathing at night, she’s quite drained after a day at kindergarten and sports.
Napping is not her thing at all, so I’ve had to bribe her with my tablet and some YouTube videos to make sure that she at least rests for a little bit. Oh, and how do you like her new headphones? Amy is absolutely in love with them and I think they’re just the cutest thing ever. I’m seriously tempted to get some myself. She’s wearing the wrong way round. The ears are actually covered in gold glitter. It doesn’t get any more girly.
If your kids are into YouTube and playing on the tablet and around Amy’s age (she’s 6 next month), please, leave me some suggestions with your favourite apps and kid-friendly YouTube channels. I’m happy with Amy to be on the tablet while she’s relaxing after kindergarten, but there’s got to be something more than DCTC, Amanda Panda (Who came up with that name?) and freaking Talking Tom…
Love the headphones! I’m a teacher and children in my class love maths apps like Squeebles and Eggs on Legs. #LivingArrows
Although Athena and Troy love their tablets they haven’t yet discovered YouTube and part of me is dreading it – I can just imagine the endless unboxing videos!! She looks so cute with those headphones on! x
That’s a fab picture – those headphones are awesome! #LivingArrows
