“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
Spring has finally sprung. Well, at least it seems like it here in Germany but hey, you never know. I might be greeted by big fat snowflakes tomorrow morning. But let’s not jinx it and enjoy it while it lasts because that’s exactly what we’ve been doing this weekend.
I don’t know about you but whenever the sun comes out, Amy Amy and I get this massive urge to get outside and enjoy the sunshine which is why we headed into the woods yesterday afternoon. Don’t worry, it wasn’t anywhere as scary as the movie. In fact, it was great fun. Amy had an absolute blast running up and down the hill towards the big meadow and built little fairy houses and hideouts for her My Little Ponies.
I’m a bit gutted that I didn’t take my camera and only have some crappy pics from my phone, but spring is just beginning and there’ll be plenty of opportunities to take some lovely pics. Yesterday afternoon really was just about having fun and being outside. I’m very much a fan of the colder seasons but I have to admit, sitting in the grass and having the sun tickle my face made me realise how much I’ve missed spring and summer.
I can’t wait to spend more time outside and, most of all, head to the beach before Amy starts school in September. It’s our happy place and while we love it all year round, being able to splash in the waves makes it so much more fun.
I am the same – if the sun is out so are we. We’ve also been spending as much time as possible outside, at the park and in the garden, and walking the dog. Beautiful photo xx
Being outside in the Sun really does lift your mood I’m planning to visit our local woods more often.
I love spring for the incentive to get out and have fun – and take the camera along too of course! #LivingArrows
Oh wow, what beautiful weather you have! She looks SO grown up here and I love her outfit. Such a sunny and relaxed photo x
Oh that is a beautiful photo of her. I usually use my phone and at the moment don’t have much choice because my camera’s in (hopefully) being fixed. #livingarrows
