You might have already read that Jennie from Edspire will be hosting a barn dance to remember her beautiful daughter Matilda Mae on 2 November 2013, All Souls Day. Jennie has written a blog post about her vision for the day and reading about her dreams and wishes for Baby Tilda’s Barn Dance has immediately made me want to get involved in one way or another.
Jennie’s story has touched so many of us and I know that the entire blogosphere is standing behind her and will continue to do so. Therefore, I thought it would be a lovely idea to show our continuous support for Jennie and her family by creating a special blogger bunting for Matilda Mae’s barn dance.
How can you get involved?
Bunting is an essential part of a fun barn dance. So let’s all get creative! Decorate an individual triangle, send it to me via mail and watch the blogger bunting in remembrance of Matilda Mae grow when I sew all our triangles together.
There are no rules as to how you can decorate your triangle. Use colours, textures and materials of your choice. Write, draw, sow, knit or crochet.Β Let Matilda Mae inspire you!
If you want to get involved, please leave a comment below with a way to contact you and I will email you a template that tells you the exact measurements of the bunting. Also, please help spread the word and share this post, so that as many bloggers as possible can get involved and remember baby Tilda!
