Vertbaudet is one of my favourite retailers for children’s fashion. Amy’s very first outfit was from their newborn range and it now sits in her memory box. I just can’t bear the thought to let go of it. Now, almost three years on, Becky from Baby Budgeting has launched a competition with Vertbaudet that allows entrants to celebrate motherhood and their love for the French brand by choosing their favourite Mother’s Day outfit.
The winner will receive a £50 voucher for Vertbaudet to buy an outfit for their child as well as a £50 high street voucher to buy a new outfit for themselves and £100 restaurant voucher that I would used for a lovely family meal.
So what have I picked for Amy? An outfit that is cute yet practical and perfect for my ideal Mother’s Day, which would consist of a lovely afternoon walk or the visit of an old manor house finished by a delicious meal in our favourite restaurant.
1 Girl’s Printed Poplin Blouse I adore this light pink tunic. The print is adorable and a nice tunic always gives an outfit a smarter touch, I find.
2 Girl’s Short Puffball Skirt I love the grey and white polka dot print of this skirt. It’s stylish and fun and I know that Amy would love it. Plus, it hides stains a little better than the white version!
3 Girl’s Plain or Printed Leggings These would be fab to keep her warm on our Mother’s Day walk and could even be worn just with the tunic for a more casual look.
4 Girl’s Buttoned Cardigan This beautiful cardigan adds an extra layer that will make sure that Amy is nice and warm on our walk. In March, the weather is still a little unpredictable, so we’ll better play it save.
5 Girl’s Printed Wellington Boots All children love jumping in muddy puddles and walking across fields, so wellies are a must on every day out. These aren’t only practical, but also incredibly pretty.
What do you think: Is our outfit fit for a Mother’s Day celebration in style?
PS: If you want to enter Becky’s competition, you have to be quick. It closes at midnight 18/03/2014.
