There are dozens of ways to protect your future, be it by saving money, investing in real estate or building and expanding a business. I’ve written about great ways to save a couple of times and have introduced you to schemes like FSCS that protect your savings should your bank, building society or credit union go bankrupt – we all remember the banking crisis in Greece and Cyprus a couple of years ago. But let’s face it, posts like that can always be a little boring and complicated, if you aren’t a finance expert or maths geek. So I thought, we’d try something else and what could be better than sharing the story of a real person?
I know that hearing about someone’s life and how their choices have affected them and their future is way more interesting and to me finding out about their ways to save up or invest is way more beneficial and inspiring than reading yet another blog post about saving tips or financial theory. Luckily, five personalities from the world of music, entertainment and sport have decided to sit down and openly talk to FSCS about a time (or even times) in their lives where their savings were absolutely crucial to their existence and how they protect them.
