“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
With everything that has happened over the last couple of week’s, I’m kind of struggling to write anything that goes above and beyond a simple text or Facebook message. I’ve got so many emotions flying around in my head and I hope that in a couple of weeks, I’ll be able to put everything into words and perspective. For now, I just want to share these two photos with you.
The picture above was taken the weekend before last and we had a day out with my mum, sister and her boyfriend. Close to where we live, there’s this theme park like farm with lots of different attractions and things to do and one of them was horse riding. Amy is obsessed with horses, although she’s never been on one, so, of course, we had to change that. As you can see, she was beyond excited and once we left, she didn’t talk about anything but Rosi. I think it was love at first sight!
This Sunday, we enjoyed the glorious sunshine and summery temperatures. We went on a little walk through our town, spent a good two hours at the playground where Amy played on the monkey bars and treated ourselves to an ice-cream sundae in a little cafe. They had the most amazing buttermilk and elderflower ice-cream and we’ll definitely be back for more throughout the summer.
Oh she is having such a lovely childhood - recent events aside. She looks like such a happy, outgoing and just lovely girl. Thinking of you Caro x
