If you’ve been hanging around for a while, you know that traveling is one of my biggest passions. Over the year’s, I have established my own travel checklist to make sure that the whole packing process doesn’t end up ruining the start of my holiday.

Obviously, this packing list can be altered depending on the duration and the destination of your travels. Someone traveling to Jamaica for a beach holiday might have different needs than someone discovering the glaciers of Iceland but let this be a starting point and add or remove whatever you need or don’t need.
Plus, if you’ve got a credit card on you, you can get whatever you’ve forgotten once you’ve arrived at your destination. They’re the number 1 thing I pack right after our passports. You need them for absolutely everything from plane tickets to hire cars, so do make sure to get one before you jet on your holidays. If you are worried about not being eligible for a credit card because of a bad credit rating, don’t worry. There are pre-paid options as well as lenders who offer credit cards for those with bad credit (I’ve mentioned Vanquis above) - just make sure that you make your payments on time and lend responsibly and you’ve got nothing to worry about.
If you’re a seasoned traveler, don’t forget to let me know what’s always on your packing list!
