“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth”
Easter is officially over but that didn’t stop us from paying Rostock Easter market a little visit this afternoon. It’s a mix of traditional craft and food stalls as well as some rides for children, so basically a small Easter-themed version of the annual Christmas market. The decorations are super adorable and I’ve shared some of them in my Insta stories if you’re quick!
As you can see, Amy is more into the action-packed side of things. I mean what would be a trip to the Easter market be without having a go on at least one of the rides?
Initially, she had wanted to go on the big ferris wheel, but as we’d just been for a massive ice-cream sundae at our favourite ice-cream parlour and it was quite windy, we thought taking a ride on a 30m ferris wheel wasn’t the best idea for everyone involved. Luckily, Amy felt for us all and settled for this little yellow plane. She loved regulating its height with her own little joystick and as you can see in the picture above, she’s having an absolute blast.
I think she was also glad to get outside for a bit as we’ve been mostly stuck inside for the past couple of days. The weather was just horrific and yesterday, we even woke up to snow. I can’t remember ever having snow for Easter but my mum insisted that it wasn’t as unusual as I thought it was. Either way, we couldn’t have our Easter egg hunt outside. Amy didn’t really seem to mind, though. She was spoiled rotten and I don’t think I’ve got to buy any chocolate until at least Christmas. I guess being the only grandchild and great-grandchild in the family pays off!

Amys loks like she is having a great time on the ride, the Easter market sounds fab. The perfect place to visit with something for everyone.
