Taking a monthly photo of both of us is proving to be a real challenge for me. As always, I have heaps of photos of Amy but literally none of us together. It's not easy when you're usually the one behind the camera and a vehement. A couple days ago, though, we popped out for a fun mummy-daughter day. We went to the cinema to watch a movie together. We shopped till be dropped and, of course, there ...

Living Arrows 7/52 - Amy, Harry and a trip to the ENT hospital
When I caught Amy asleep on the bed, all snuggled up with Harry, I should have known that she was about to come down with something again. She never sleeps in the day and if she does, it's always a good indicator that something inside her body is brewing. I just didn't think that something might be wrong with her, though, as she was still on medication from her previous ear infection. So I got my ...
Living Arrows 6/52 - Amy’s school entrance exam
Today's post is up a little later than usual and that's because we had one hell of a busy week and this morning was no different. In fact, it was the day of Amy's school entrance exam and I've been rushing around like a blue arse fly. So this week's pic shows her on our way to her future primary school - happily singing and jumping around with my umbrella. If you've got no idea what a school ...
Me & Mine - January 2017 - Taking more family photos
At the beginning of the year, I’ve written a post about my goals and New Year’s resolutions for 2017. If you’ve read it, you will know that one of my goals for this year is to take more photos of Amy and me. TAKING MORE FAMILY PHOTOS I’ve got tonnes of pictures of Amy. Amy with my mum, Amy with my dad, Amy with my sister, my grandparents, her friends, my parents’ neighbours dog. There are, ...
Living Arrows 5/52 - Enjoying a slippery winter day
We're slowing getting back to normal. Amy is finally feeling a little more energetic again, so we made the most of the beautiful winter day by having a long walk. As you can see in the picture below, Amy had an absolute blast sliding up and down the frozen pathways. Me? Not so much. I walked like a penguin with slow and wobbly steps while Amy pretended to be a figure skater. Despite, the odd ...
Living Arrows 4/52 - Being brave about nose spray, ear drops & Co
I don't know if you've read my most recent Little Loves post where I've written about Amy's hearing problems. But she basically needs to take ear drops every 30 minutes, nose spray three times a day as well as use a nebuliser and red light twice a day. All this is to help clear up her ears and hopefully let the polyps in her ears shrink. If it works and her hearing improves, everything is fine. ...
